Join us for Cuban beverages and great photographs.
This week we are announcing our November 2018 trip is open for reservations. We are already over 1/3 booked on this trip, so check out the website for more information and let us know as soon as possible if you would like to join us for this Eastern Cuba + Havana adventure!
This week we return to Complete Cuba traveler Joe Mure and an image he captured back in 2017. Joe has titled this image, On The Road Again, and notes that he captured the image from the bus. 300mm, f5.6, 1/1250 sec., ISO450
Our Image of the Week is from Gordon Smith, Florida. Gordon stated he wants to, "...show the warm, resilient and "enjoying life" spirit that I felt from the Cuban people."
You can see a more of Gordon's photos from his 2017 Complete Cuba trip (including eastern Cuba and Havana) at http://www.blurb.com/b/7827479-cuba.
This week I simply grabbed an image randomly from a download of images I took in 2016. There are certainly many sides to Cuba. The Complete Cuba includes many aspects that are not as attractive as a 1952 Mercury rolling down the road.
This week we turn again to Bob Edelstein with a stunner of a car and the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso right west of Parque Central in Havana.
This week we turn to Katherine Eldred for our Image of the week. Katherine labeled this image, "Hauling." Thanks for this great image!
This week we again turn to photographer Bob Edelstein for a nighttime shot from a 2016 group trip. Bob shoots primarily with a Leica and his focus is portrait and street photography.
Thank you Bob, for submitting this incredibly dramatic image!
This week the Image of the Week is by Complete Cuba's very own Keith R. Sbiral. "The dog ate my shoe." Leica M (Typ 246) 50mm Summicron. Santa Clara, Cuba.
This week our image is by New York photographer Bob Edelstein. Bob has traveled to Cuba multiple times and has published books of his travel photography. This image is a wonderful night scene and is our Image of the Week!
This week our image is one sent to us by Katherine Eldred, UK. Katherine has been on multiple Complete Cuba trips and knows exactly when to capture that "decisive moment."
